The String World

The universe as a symphony of frequencies.

Cover of The String World

This is a collection of artworks that revolves around the theory of strings by Persian visual artist Saeed Rostambakhsh (Rostam).

Since he has always been intrigued by music and holds a bachelor's degree in that field, the world in his eyes appears to be a symphony, with all parts of life seen as frequencies of the whole universe. This perspective led him to delve deeper into scientific studies, eventually becoming familiar with the theory of strings, which describes how everything is a frequency in quantum dimensions.

In his works, the strings represent the basic layers of existence lying behind every so-called real object and the whole universe. He suggests that everything is an illusion made by our limited sensation system, with a formless world hidden from our naked eyes.
