David De Hannay

David De Hannay is a filmmaker, photographer and visual artist. He is the founder of NYC Art Group.

He has created anthology documentary films focusing on Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Israel, and his conceptual photography projects received international exposure through BBC World. De Hannay has participated in Greek theater festivals and maintained involvement in human-rights advocacy for nearly two decades.

He has authored and published books featuring his artistic work, and documented street muralists during New York's pandemic lockdown. He is currently developing a film project centered on filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard, set in New York City.
